In 1971, my husband and I escaped the cold weather of the Northeast and headed west to sunny Santa Barbara. We eventually discovered a lovely, remote property in the hills of Santa Ynez, where we built our house and named it Gravity Ranch.

It was here in this beautiful environment that I began working with the wildflowers that surround our home. I also planted a flower garden and began creating the flower artwork I call Petal Peeps. My Gravity Glass, too, is inspired by the natural beauty all around me.
